Training Dates

Training is required of ALL Volunteers to provide a safe environment and a quality experience for each child and adult at camp. Team work is critical and begins with meeting your fellow volunteers at training.

No children are allowed at training.

Please do NOT call the Council office to register for DDC training days.

Please arrive 20 minutes early to check in and plan to stay the entire time.

Training Requirements for Twin Canyon Volunteers
– 1st time adult volunteers must complete modules I – V, plus Mandated Reporter training.
– 2nd Year (Returning Volunteers) volunteers must attend modules II , III (A or B), IV and V.
– 3rd Year or more (Experienced Volunteers) adult volunteers must attend modules III(A OR B), IV and V.

**** UPDATED: Mandated Reporter is good for 3 years! ****

Training Requirements for Little Hills Ranch Volunteers

– 1st Year (New Volunteers) adult volunteers must complete all modules.
– 2nd Year (Returning Volunteers) adult volunteers must attend modules  LH II , MR. LH III, LH IV and LH V.
– 3rd Year or more (Experienced Volunteers) adult volunteers must attend modules MR. LH III, LH IV, LH V.
