DAY CAMP AT A GLANCE

Morning Magic

  • Campers kick off the day in the meadow where they are welcomed by their adult leaders and elves.

Elves Pump Up the Energy

  • Elves get everyone ready for the day leading the entire camp in fun songs until the opening flag ceremony.
(If we could only bottle their energy!)

Awesome Archery

  • We are one of the few day camps that have archery. Campers from 1st grade and up at Twin Canyon and 3rd grade and up at Little Hills will make their mark.

Nature, Crafts, Skills and Thrills

  • Campers explore nature, unleash their creativity in crafts, learn skills, play games and take a swim at Twin Canyon or splash about with fun water play at Little Hills.

Lunchtime at Little Hills

  • Little Hills campers bring their bag lunches everyday, but they don’t miss out on the fun. They still enjoy an outdoor cooking rotation, where they’ll chop, mix ingredients and use a variety of outdoor cooking techniques.

Lunchtime at Twin Canyon

  • Twin Canyon campers cook up their lunch most days learning skills like starting charcoal fires, chopping and mixing  ingredients, learning outdoor cooking techniques and washing dishes.

More Meadow Magic

  • At the end of the day, everyone gathers in the meadow for singing with Elves and a flag-down ceremony before saying goodbye for the day.

Chill Treats

  • Campers enjoy delicious snow cones or otter pops on hot days to cool down.

Adventure Awaits

  • Campers start their exciting day with their units, going from one activity to another. This shared time is the magic ingredient for forming new friendships and face to face connections.

Elves to the Rescue

  • Throughout the day, Elves are there helping create epic moments. They assist adults and guide campers through activities, games, and more fun songs.

Tag-a-longs “Tags”

  • We provide a preschool “Tag” unit for the 3- to 5-year-old, potty-trained, children of related adult volunteers. Tags participate in all camp activities (except for archery).
  • They have fun, you have peace of mind, and can’t beat the low price for the whole week.

Boys at camp

  • Volunteers can also bring their elementary-school-age sons. The boys participate in all the same camp activities, even extra games in the meadow.
  • Camp staff enjoy peace of mind knowing their sons are having a quality camp experience too!

Camper Experience

  • Camper units are organized by camper’s age and/or grade in school with usually 12-18 campers per unit.
  • Each unit is girl-led by 2-3 Elves along with 2-3 adult volunteers.
  • Campers may be placed in the same unit with a friend or 2, but there is a limit of how many from each troop/school will be together to ensure a well rounded experience and to encourage new friendships.
